Music on Norway Pond brings outdoor concert to town common Saturday

Yellow Barn’s Young Artists Program on Hancock Common Saturday, June 25

PETERBOROUGH, NH — Music on Norway Pond’s next concert in collaboration with Vermont’s Yellow Barn will once again feature their summertime Young Artists Program, which brings together 30 performers and composers ages 13-20 from around the country for three weeks each June.

The program will include selections of works for strings, clarinet, piano, and percussion by Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, Schubert, and Schumann, alongside works by the young composers.

Outdoor classical concerts by young pre-professionals are always an energetic joy to be part of. This festive gathering begins at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, on the Hancock Common, across from the Hancock Congregational Church.

It will utilize Yellow Barn’s innovative movable stage and sound system called the Music Haul.

There is no charge, but donations are gratefully accepted. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and a snack!
