Francestown Village Art Walk
Join us for the “Francestown Main Street Art Walk”, a free event on May 23 at 4 p.m. Local arts and crafts will be displayed in the Old Meeting House foyer, on the lawn, and on Main Street in Rosemary Conroy’s Studio B and in David Drinkwater’s barn. In addition, artists and craftspeople will be showing their work in other studios and yards along the way. Artworks will include paintings, pottery, woodworking, photography and weaving, with both paintings and crafts for sale. Come enjoy local art in our historic Main Street. The event is free, and you might find a treasure you can’t do without. In case of rain, displays will be in the Old Meeting House, in the horse sheds, and in various studios along Main Street. Just bring an umbrella and a smile.
This is part of the Old Meeting House summer Sundays at 4 series. There will be nineteen programs in all, one every week, through September 19. There will be music, art, history and even the Francestown Volunteer Fire Department. The OMH aims to bring people together safely. Children are welcome and always free. The Francestown Village Store will have burgers and more available to top off your experience.
