Nelson Old Home Day

Nelson Old Home Day revives after a 2 year hiatus. This small town celebrates big, starting with a road race, games, musical performances, and the famous Friends of the Library Book Sale. Lunch is chicken barbecue and a concert by the Nelson Town Band. Then a sheep-dog demonstration, followed by the water ball fight. Later afternoon a softball game in the newly restored ball field. Wrap up with evening with the contra dance in the Nelson Town Hall. All events are free, with donations for the dance appreciated. Chicken barbecue is $15.
